Our Story
I met Gabriele in Florence, Italy, while I was studying Fashion Design in college. He was born and raised in Florence, and he embodies a blend of cultures. His father Luigi is from Calabria, Italy and his mother Rose-Anna is from Paris, France.
Our story began on Florence’s cobblestone streets and in cafés where conversations lingered late into the night. Between his family and me, we spoke Italian, French, and English, but what truly connected us was a shared love of family, culture, and the simple beauty of slowing down.
Together, we’ve built a life in the States that blends tradition with creativity. We have a beautiful daughter, Luna, and a playful mini goldendoodle, Zeus. My love of gardening and cooking has grown into a family-run olive oil business, carrying forward Gabriele’s roots from home. On this journey, we’ve partnered with family friends in Tuscany, multi-generational cultivators and pressers whose olive trees date back to the Renaissance and have been lovingly tended for over 500 years.
For us, family meals, travel, and old-world rituals aren’t just memories of where we come from, they are the rhythm of how we live today. What began in Florence has blossomed into a shared passion for honoring connection, heritage, and the joy of cooking, often made complete with nothing more than a drizzle of good olive oil.
